Devante Horne, PhD
About
Hi there. I’m Devante. If you’re here, you’re probably interested in AI, health tech, or the intersection of both.
A little bit about me: I have a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from UC Berkeley and UCSF, where I focused on wearable technologies for musculoskeletal health. Since then, I’ve built my career at the intersection of AI and health, working across research, product, and program management. At Google, I’ve led AI-driven initiatives that bridge cutting-edge technology with real-world impact, managing cross-functional teams to bring innovation to market.
My expertise lies in translating complex technical concepts into practical, scalable solutions — whether it’s developing innovative medical diagnostic devices or optimizing AI models to drive sustainability for small businesses. I thrive when leading technical teams toward meaningful outcomes.
Through my work, I’m focused on leveraging AI to drive better health outcomes, smarter decision-making, and more accessible technology. If you’re as excited about the future of AI and health tech as I am, let’s connect.
